Tribe of Healers Accompanying Us

The Tribe of Healers are small dolls
that are dedicated to healing
on every level.
They are talismans,
that speak of the heart of the healing journey.

As Jim turns them on the lathe,
he holds the image of healing
and pours that into the whirling wood.
Then, Noreen holds them in her hands
and 'listens' until the spirit of the
Tribe of Healers doll
guides her in drawing out the images.
She then burns them into the wood,
also holding 'healing' in her heart and mind.
Much love is poured into these little dolls.

wink in and away, as they are adopted.
Because they are one of a kind,
each one is totally unique.
They are about 2 1/2 inches tall.

But, their sisters and cousins are emerging quickly,
so, if one that you fell in love with
has whisked off to live with someone else,
know that her sister will be here soon....

As soon as I saw Noreen's Healing Tribe I could not resist them. We had been talking about Baba Yaga and Vasilisa and before we knew it the Healing Tribe emerged.

Wee Daerta is on her way from Canada, from the workshop of Noreen and Jim, to be my companion on the journey to the Land of Stones.

Alternatively, find a healing stone, hold it in your hand, listen as Noreen listens, and paint your healer's face. Carry this talisman with you and make sure to ask her for advice during your month long journey within the Land of Stones.

Reaching the Land of Standing Stones

Word has reached us that travellers are climbing the Faraway Tree to reach the Land of Standing Stones in order to free and warm the stone artists that are trapped within.

It is not easy to reach this land. In an increasingly materialistic world, where so many are driven by a seemingly insatiable desire for power and possessions some folk are so calcified that they may need help up the tree. A host of helpers have come to the tree to help pull you up if you are feeling weighed down by fears, anxiety or a sense of insecurity.

The requirements of an artist cannot be fulfilled by material means so travellers must travel lightly, bringing talismans for those who will help to warm their internal artist.

In the Land of Standing Stones you will calm and concentrate your mind, awaken an artistic vision and embrace the joy of art.
